ABOUT
Hi I’m Amelia Arsenic (aka. destroyx) - a twenty five year old musician, artist, designer, art director and stylist. My latest project is a new fashion + art brand called A is for Arsenic London which is a multidisciplinary project that releases limited edition apparel, cosmetic products, art prints & accessories.
I love to travel and have previously lived in Sydney/Berlin/NYC but now I’m living in London, (next stop is Paris!). I spend most of my time kerning type, designing accessories or planning mammoth video/photo shoots. If I’m not making visuals, I’m doing something musical with my crazy industrial cyber punk band Angelspit (we are signed to Metropolis records in the USA and we run our own label called Black Pill Red Pill).
I am obsessed with the colour red, polka dots, the letter X and Russian Constructivism. I love to collect ridiculously high heels, vintage stockings, corsets, latex and antique medical equipment. Chances are if it’s subversive, audacious or red (preferably all three), I will be enamoured by it. I love typography, Sonic Youth and big hair with an equal passion.

Destroyx.com is a new blog based website which presents my thoughts and observations on style, design, fashion, art and anything aesthetic through the lense of my own personal experiences as an emerging artist and designer. I aim to inspire, provoke debate and share my knowledge through regular posts about the wonderfully decadent, eccentric and dark visually exciting world that we find ourselves in.
A weekly beauty column were I create a distinctive makeup look and explain in great detail how to achieve the look. Full of makeup and style tips tinged with my own personal fashion outlook.
