Style Division: Patricia Field Salon Shoot

By Destroyx | February 8, 2010

Photograph by Diego Corredor and wig by Flame

Late one Saturday night a few weeks ago, I received a text from my friend and hairstylist Flame asking me if I could come to the Patricia Field Salon for a Sunday video shoot to fill in for a model who had pulled out at the last minute. I was told to wear red and without knowing what to expect at all, I turned at the shoot and had an absolute blast. The shoot was extremely spontaneous and lively because of the fun loving models (Reiko, Giselle, Laila, Steffi, Apathy, Jovan, Eddy & Angelo) who were brought together by Flame. The photographs were taken by the Diego Corredor and the video was shot by William Caballero who were both awesome.

My outfit is one of my favourite latex ensembles which I wore on the last Angelspit tour. It’s comprised of various pieces from my top three favourite latex designers, Atsuko Kudo, Jane Doe Latex and Vex Clothing.

Lips Necklace: Miss X Jewellery (available at Black Pill Red Pill & Etsy)
Strapless Bow Top & Cross Bones Mini Skirt: Jane Doe Latex
Mini Beret & Fingerless gloves: Atsuko Kudo
Corset: Morgana Femme Couture
Thigh High Stockings: Agent Provocateur
Spats: Vex Clothing
Shoes: Dsquared2
Stripy braces: Camden Markets

Video of the Photoshoot By William Caballero

William Caballero shot a super fun video of the shenanigans at the shoot. If the embedded video doesn’t work, please use this link instead.

Behind the Scenes Photography By ZooG

I dragged ZooG along for the day and he took some fly on the wall photographs of the day. These photographs make me smile because they show how much fun it can be to just get together with friends, be silly and spontaneous, yet also come out with an awesome creative outcome.

This just weakens my will not to buy any more latex until Montreal Fetish Weekend! Especially Atsuko Kudo, I always lust over my friend’s Kudo outfits, but always go with less expensive custom latex I can have done by designer I know. But that shoot looks immensely fun in one of the cooler places in NYC.

I can tell from the pictures alone, that y’all had some fun. Which I believe is always great for creativity.

Multicultural/Multigender colorful wig camp for the win.

Oh, this is so AWESOME!!! LOVE the outfit (and first thought the spats were made by you :) You look fantastic. All the wigs too, are so colourful and fun :)

And hehe, I have those same stripy Switchblade Stiletto pants that Flame is wearing…and the jacket…and the skirt..

    ghostette- thanks sweetheart!

Yume Ninja- It’s been ages since I’ve done red/black and I kinda like it too! Nearly makes me want to dye my hair red but I know I’ll regret it.

chris/devntone- Hah.. I’m too short for modelling, so I’ll stick to designing and music instead.

Queen Titania- I know, latex is just so awesome! It’s my secret weakness actually. I would love to see some of your latex outfits.

P-chan- Totally! I love how there were so many different types of people there and the colours! Made for a fun day.

    Thomas- yup, was very fun.

Diana- awww.. smiling is one of the things I endeavour to do often. ah.. you might freak out if you had my life, it’s not as fun as it might seem.

trashtastika- Yeah, I totally wish I made the spats! I haven’t yet had the chance to really get into making latex stuff yet. Flame’s pants are awesome aren’t they!

also can you tell us poor people how you can afford such a stunning wardrobe..must cost a fortune…how do you do it..

  19. Queen Titania Says:

Destroyx- I would say it is my secret weakness too, but anyone who knows me knows it isn’t too secret.

I actually don’t have too many latex photos online, but a few are on my myspace: http://www.myspace.com/428920877 The purple and black outfit is all latex and was custom made and feels just wonderful because of it. I try not to buy off the shelf latex, since part of the fun of latex is how the perfect fit of it feels like a second skin. The other outfits in there combine latex with PVC corsets, shiny metallic lycra and some other things.

My most expensive latex outfit is a gown I had made for last Montreal Fetish Weekend. Sadly no photos were taken, but a clip of the fashion show is on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-onjkuD6Zw I am the one in the plum colored floor length gown in the black hood (my matching wig fell off in a wardrobe malfunction and there was no time to get it back on) staring daggers into the act that came on stage during our show.

I really need to do a proper shoot in that, the latex military uniform from that weekend, and the purple outfit. I have the space to shoot, the photographer, and am in way better shape but haven’t found the time! Anyway I am rambling and taking up way too much space in your blog!

You look fabulous! I know I’m biased, but your look was my favorite one of all of the models. The red and black hairstyle really suits you, for all that it is a really different style than you usually wear.

    You look awesome, as usual!

I have one small question, I’m wondering where you buy your eye contacts. They are very vivid, and I have seen the GEO and EOS contacts range and nothing in these are as vivid as yours. Thanks ><

I love the mixture and clash of colours, which really makes the whole shoot seem to *pop*! It all works so well to create such a fun, and creative environment!
You look absolutely beautiful with that wig, I must say!
and I think your outfit is simply amazing :)
Latex always looks good, and your corsets are to die for!

Rachel - It was a custom made corset

Hien- I got mine from a site called coastal contacts and it was in the coloured contacts section.
