AMELIA ARSENIC (POWERED BY ZOMBIE CHEWS): I’ve been pretty absent these last few weeks, as always busy with projects. Many a late night was powered by Zombie Chews and caffeine. At the moment I’m recording vocals for the next Angelspit album, furiously working on my new makeup line and upcoming releases for Black Pill Red Pill (our new record label).
TUXEDO CRAZY: I’ve been totally obsessed with tuxedo and tail coats these past few weeks and I’m glad the weather is getting colder because I can take them out for a spin! If you like the lipstick shirt I’m wearing in the above photo, get one from Nubby Twiglet while you can!
QUARTER LIFE CRISIS BLUES: I’ve been suffering from a bout of ‘quarter life crisis’ blues and was wandering around in my pajamas for days on end, but I think I’m out of it for now. Luckily my plush toys kept me company. Don’t worry, I don’t have that many plush toys as in the photo above, which I took in Chinatown shop window. I wish I had this many colour co-ordinated plushies!
CHOCOLATE LOVE: Last weekend I was lucky enough to get to Max Brenners chocolate cafe in Paddington where I treated myself to this pure chocolate dip with fresh strawberries. It was totally delicious! There is nothing like chocolate to cheer up a dreary outlook.
I’m sorry for my absence over these last few weeks, dear readers… but I promise I have an amazing amount of content lined up for near future and you will probably get sick of my updates!

YOU having a quarter life crisis?! Gawsh. You have so many achievments and are still so ridiculously young! I wonder what you’d think of my highly unsuccessful, talentless, fat crappy life then?! Bit depressing really:( You’ve already achieved just about everything I’ve ever dreamed of doing!!!! Music, design, fashion etc etc. I’m pretty much a waste of space in comparison to somebody like you. *tear*
Gah! That’s a complete downer… sorry! I guess i feel a bit hopeless sometimes…..if I had’ve gained even an iota of the success you have, I’d be so happy. I don’t even have looks to fall back on in lieu of my complete lack of skill, talent, or general uselessness.
Sorry. I sound like a complete jealous, insecure bitch. Which i suppose i am.I guess i’m a bit depressed at the moment. I shouldn’t compare myself, but it’s hard not to sometimes.
I guess even gals like you get the blues sometimes. I am glad you feel better now though, and i don’t mean to invalidate your feelings just because I’m a loser!
Good luck with all your awesome projects, girl. You probably don’t need it, as you’re clever enough to make anything happen. For all my envy,I really do admire you, and i know you’ll have (and deserve)an amazing future. <3

Glad to see you back! I’ve really missed your entries! You know, I’ve been having a kind of quarter-life crisis lately, too. (I’m only 20, but I guess it’s more accurate. Or maybe not, everyone will live to 100 at this point.) I don’t know what I want to do, and I’m basically tired of my life, and I’m terrified of growing old. I deal with it, though. I’m glad you feel better now!

I’m starting to think we almost share part of a brain. I, too, have been obsessed with tuxedo and tailcoats lately! Perhaps it’s just the subliminal hints of cold weather seeping into our brains, though. I’ve been hunting through op-shops to try and find interesting tailcoats, although I’m not having too much luck, unfortunately - but I will soldier on!
It’s most exciting to hear news of a makeup line, the album and the label! You certainly have some great things going on, best of luck with it all!

simi - Aww.. don’t feel like that sweetie. I don’t let it on much, but I get the blues a lot! I think the world is a difficult place to deal with living in sometimes. We constantly question and wonder what the hell our purpose is and what we are doing with our lives. Even though I’ve managed to do a few things with my life, I still never feel satisfied and that’s something that gets me down a bit. Don’t compare yourself to me… just be yourself because that will make you happiest in the long run! You are unique, beautiful and amazing….Trust me!
Lisa- I feel your pain. I went exactly through what you are going through.. actually I’m still going through it. I’m glad I’m not the only one going… arghhh…! I figure the best cure is to just live everyday like it’s your last and just get the most out of life!
Alice- I got it from H&M in Berlin. I don’t know if they still have them.. =( I wear the skirt all the time! I want to find one in red and a white one too.

vustoxular- Aww.. you’re sweet. Haha, I didn’t know they were called ‘gloomy bears’. I really wanted to get one, but you could only win one out of those games with the metal claw thing.
HeartGrenade- Tailcoats rule! I couldn’t find any in the op shops. I got mine from Topshop in the UK, which has 10 pound flat rate shipping.. it’s totally awesome! I have actually bought 3 from them recently and the quality is really good.
Sarah- Ok! Only if we can eat cupcakes and go hooping.
Bambi- I didn’ think anyone would be interested in my normal everyday hair.. but if you are I might do a tutorial!
k0mmissar- I feel your pain. I think I’ve been in this crisis since my mid teens actually! I just want to get on with my life!

Quarter life crisis has to suck…
Fortunately I’m not really there yet, but I think I’m almost having a bit of “becoming an adult-crisis” I don’t wanna grow up!
By the way, those bears remind me a lot of Junko Mizunos drawings and comics.
I’m sure you must have read her work “Pure Trance”?
It contains hospitals, surgery, cute girls, bdsm sections, fetish wear, japansese things and monsters and things that are generally just cute and malicious.
I’ve always loved it, but now when I think about it, I’m sure it’d be just your thing if you haven’t already read it!
