Style Division - 18.12.08

By Destroyx | December 23, 2008

My new way of wearing a tie

This is what I wore to the Oh Really art show. It was a street art kinda show, so I thought it would be appropriate to take these photographs near some of the amazing walls around the area. I felt like layering up a few shades of grey and polka dots in the outfit. I also got pretty excited because I figured out a new way to wear a regular mens necktie as a scarf.

Top: Cotton ruffled blouse from a market in Singapore.
Skirt: Dangerfield- I love suspender skirts and this skirt only cost $20!
Accessories: $2 mens neck tie from discount store, PVC bow made by me.
Purse: Betsey Johnson
Shoes: Black glittery satin pumps by Pleaser

You are most definitely my new #1 girl crush.

Even though I’m new to your blog, your style is so amazing.

Murdercute1994- hehe.. totally man, it’s one of my favourite things to do, to do a classic style and then subvert it.

Ashe Mischief- Thank you lovely! I am honoured!

Love that PVC bow. I’ve become obsessed with hair bows recently. It’s cool that you found a lot of stuff in Singapore. When I went to China a few years back I found a lot of cool clothes for very cheap.

BTW, my boyfriend thinks you’re a natural beauty. :)

Red lips, glasses, polkadots, suspenders, pencil skirt, bow on tie action - I am in sartorial lust! Amelia Arsenic, I think you are officially the coolest girl in Oz.

Lisa- Yeah I’ve gone totally bow crazy recently. I can’t stop making them and wearing them =)

The shopping in Singapore was surprisingly good and I got a whole bunch of stuff for affordable prices. I heard China is actually cheaper!!

Say thanks to your boyfriend for me… that’s totally sweet of him to say =)

Erin- Thanks Erin! *blushes* I am doing the nerd thing! I’m glad you enjoy it too! BTW.. nice blog action. I am adding you to my RSS!

Every single part of this outfit is nothing interesting itself, but when You wear them together it’s the cutest thing on Earth.
