Style Division Singapore

By Destroyx | December 22, 2008

If you ever wanted to know how I rock a somewhat more ‘normal’ look, here’s what I look like with normal hair and with glasses. These photos were taken in the marble cladden hotel lobby that we stayed at in Singapore, it was damned lux.

Top: Some $10 shirt I bought from a Singaporean Market!
Skirt: H&M . Unfortunately you can’t see in the photo, but it’s actually a polka dot tulle tutu.
Purse: Betsey Johnson
Stockings: Music Legs
Belt: Supre for $5!
Shoes: Converse (not in the photo)

This is me and my friend Vanessa with her Angelspit tote bag I designed. I got given a balloon by someone in the street… It made me happy obviously.

The theme for Christmas time Singapore is that it’s a sweet time. Yay.

Oh Goodness! You are blond now underneath all the delicious fakehair! I love it!

I love those big hotel lobbys, they are so imposing and you can’t help but feel regal and important when you are in them! When I was in Hawaii our lobby was very similar, and opened up onto the beach. It was amazing, even in the eyes of anti-nature person like me! ha!

What brand are your glasses? They look like a Gucci pair I’ve been obsessing over all 2008…

You almost look like a different person.

That hotel makes the place I work at look like a dump.

Bex- Yup… I am a ‘natural’ blond, with my EVIL ™ black streak of doom. =)

Wooo.. I didn’t know you went to Hawaii!!! That sounds like a lot of fun. Your hotel sounds spectacular.

It’s so nice to spend time in a nice hotel, we rarely do. Most of the time it’s backpackers and cheap motels, so staying at this place was a total treat.

Persephone66- Yeah, that’s the awesome thing about clothes and makeup, you can totally transform yourself! This hotel was pretty nuts, I haven’t stayed anywhere that nice before!

    Wow!
You look like a completely different person here!

What does the balloon say on it? :p
Also you should have got a picture with the person that gave you the balloon ^_^

XD I love your hair :)
I wanted to do something similar over the summer… but i settled for half my hair dark blond instead :)

I love how you experiment with clothes and always manage to create a wonderful and unique look with whatever you wear

You look wonderful in this, as usual :)
    xx

Bex- BTW, my glasses brand are “vogue” or something like that.. not Gucci =) I was looking at some Gucci ones, but I actually liked these ones more. They are not as expensive but are very sturdy and well made. I got them from Budget Eyewear.

Vuxtoxn- I know! This is my normal look =) The balloon said ‘choose freedom…!’ Yeah.. I know I should have got a picture with them *doh*

Lady Hypocryte- Hell yeah, this is my secret agent disguise!

Blitz- I love blonds.. it’s my new favourite thing because it’s quite unexpected. Thanks for your lovely comment! I love to experiment with clothes, it’s one of my hobby’s definitely.

Yeah, I’ve found that, too :)
My friends all were completely shocked, but the truth is, I’d love to go completely blond, but just haven’t got the courage at the moment
I think that experimenting is so important with trying to find things that look cool :)
Since I started listening to Angelspit, I’ve really started experimenting with clothes so much more, and it’s really fun!

Damn, I was wondering how your real hair looked like and I finally know :D
Well, it’s still “crazy”, but it’s not that much different from other people’s haircuts (and the paparazzi has a more difficult job to do).

I also love your way to mix different styles. Since I want to be a fashion designer, I really appreciate that thing :D I think you’re going to be the inspiration for my new collection :D

Murdercute- My haircut is not too outrageous, which is good for when I want to ‘blend in’ =)

Woo.. good luck with all of your fashion designing. I think it’s best to be open to a lot of different inspirations, that seems to be the key to creativity for a lot of designers.

That’s what I’m talking about - it’s still have its attitude, but it won’t make anyone surprise, like if you’d go with your fake hair on ^^ and it still looks good ^^

When I’ll have some designs ready, I’m going to send it to you ^^

The hair and the ensemble really are beautiful (and that lux background does not hurt…..) the last time i was in a hotel similar to that was with my family in Puerto Rico–only we didn’t have the monies to stay there so we went there a few evenings and tried out their different restaurants.

i agree with murdercute about the hair. it’s wonderful becuase you can get by under the radar, but it definently has an edge to it that can’t go unnoticed either. i love it!
