Hello and welcome to destroyx.com!
Destroyx.com is a new blog based website which presents my thoughts and observations on style, design, fashion, art and anything aesthetic through the lense of my own personal experiences as an emerging artist and designer. I aim to inspire, provoke debate and share my knowledge through regular posts about the wonderfully decadent, eccentric and dark visually exciting world that we find ourselves in.
I would love to hear from any readers of this blog. Introduce yourself so I can find out more about you.

My name is Amelia. I’m 23 years old, transmitting this blog from Sydney Australia. I busy myself with graphic/fashion design, music, art and basically anything creative. My favourite colour is red.

My name is Elisia, or Leesy, or Poppy. I study audio engineering and audio acoustics at sydney uni. In my spare time, i make a lot of music (www.myspace.com/rudeboyofficial)<<< is one experiment where I have made up a series of ghetto characters and pitch shift my voice so I sound like a gang of dirty rappers.
I am a little obsessed with lip service clothing.
I have had dreads done by you for my year 12 formal (like, four years ago now, maybe?) and bought a BOX of amazing goodies from you earlier in the year (I call my boots my destroyx boots haha)
I am so glad you started this :) You were too quiet for a while!

I’m from kent, England, and currently studying psychology and chemistry [mainly]. In my free time I like to read, write and construct clothes (corsets mainly =DD). My favourite colour is green.

studying Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering in melbourne
i play synth in several bands and electronic collaborations as well as pretend to make music on my own.
just came back from an NZ minitour with one of my bands Harpy.
i like nightclubbing and easy to prepare food.
dislike house/home work
i was one of those crzy kids who trekked it up to sydney to see you guys twice in a row :P
also got you guys to sign a crash frequency cd at the final tankt gig.

Leesy- Yay! I’m glad you remember me =) I remember doing your hair. Your audio course sounds great. I didn’t know you could do that at Sydney Uni! Good luck with all of your music stuff I will check it out. Oh.. and yay for the boots-of-doom.
Shaz- Cool to see you making music! I hope you go far with it. I find I am always learning new things every day and improving.
Bex- Yay from people from England. I LOVE English people…. hehe.. psychology and chemistry, that’s awesome. Oh oh… I love corsets, it’s so great that you can make them. I try making them but they never turn out super professional. I must practice them more.
Andrew- WOW Robotics and Mechatronics… that’s fantastic. Maybe one day you can design some robot band members? Heh. Thanks so much for supporting us, it means so much to us.

Hello,
My real life name is Beau, but in my fantasy world I’m called Lady Hypocryte.
I’m 16 years old and glad. I can’t travel the world yet, but at least I can do a hell of a lot more then when I was 15. I’m doing 4HAVO at the moment, profile Culture and Society, because that was the most creative profile, and I didn’t have to do all the subjects I’m terrible at (science..)

I live in the Netherlands, known for it’s legal drugs and prostitutes. I’m not very happy with that, for it has a lot of other advantages, but ah.
During the classes that bore me, I design fashion outfits, or just anything I’d like. I’m not awesome at drawing, but if I really do my best, I can get a nice sketch. I’m almost addicted to music, and my ultimate favorite artists are Emilie Autumn and you and ZooG^^ I’m very inspired by your music and visual extravaganza!
I’d love to make my own music. I write lyrics and I always have tunes in my head, it’s just that I can never write those down because I’m not that good with music.
When I grow up, I want to be a performer
My favorite colours are red and black (though black is actually not a colour…it’s all colours in one!)
I already enjoyed reading your blog entries. And hell, those eyelashes from Viktor&Rolf (Dutch designers! yay) are amazing. They almost made my eyes pop out of utter awe. I want them.

Lady Hypocryte- Ohhh.. I had such a great time in the Netherlands when I was there. It was amazing. We played at the Summer Darkness festival and it was so much fun. I love the people there!
We also visited the red light district… it was kind of seedy, but the latex stores were amazing.
I hope one day to see your music or your costumes… keep at it!
Yeah I love Viktor & Rolf- I only own their perfume at the moment, but one day I would love to own some of their clothes. =) The eyelashes are some of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen… I’m pretty sure they are a work of art. hah.

Hehe, I’m glad I’m having two weeks off of school, it means I FINALLY have the time to do what I want: Make some dresses, make some blue fake dreads (I’m in love with the colour,it’s so pretty), maybe I will even draw something nice enough to upload on my DeviantArt account! But still..only two weeks…So little time, so much to do!
I should really get a job. I want a corset (I’ve seen a pinstripe underbust on sale!), new make-up (Nivea or MAC), I want pretty (and expensive) fabrics and I want a Hellpack.. the stuff in it is so adorable and freaky!
Oh, and I’d love a pack of those Viktor & Rolf eyelashes..they aren’t extremely expensive.. I would just buy them and then pin them on my wall,so I could look at them and think “Gosh, they are really amazing.”

My name is Mahlin, I am 17 years old and I’m writing this from Gothenburg, Sweden.
I study at an artsy high school with a focus on drawing and digital art and I design and create clothes and accessoires and occasionally I even wear them. I read way too much, especially comics, and I enjoy drawing my own comics and writing short stories in the genres of Erotica or Bizzarro.
For music, I play violin and currently I’m saving up for an electric one. And I’m also practicing how to do growling and harsh metal vocals.
My favorite sound is the metallic clangs of a wheelchair as it leaves an ambulance. It might sound weird to have this as a favorite sound, but I find it beautiful.
My favorite color is the green of summer grass.
When I turn 18 next year, I’m going to apply for a summer job as a dead person at the local haunted house. If you ever find yourself in the west of Sweden next summer, be sure to visit the large amusement park and go to the haunted house and I might be there to scare you ;)

Keith- Oh.. you live in NYC lucky thing. So much to do in there =) It’s so lovely that you want to be a teacher, its such an admirable thing to want to be. There aren’t enough passionate teachers around. Oh.. and money is always nice too.. yay for summer!
Lady Hypocryte- We’re coming back mid 2009 to Europe, so I hope we make it to the Netherlands. The stuff you want to do sounds really fun! Yay for holidays.
Mahlin- Ohh… Sweden! My best friends boyfriend is from there! Wow, your high school sounds like so much fun. I wish I went somewhere that had a focus on art. Lucky you! I’m glad that you are expressing yourself through music, that sounds like it’s going to be amazing, especially the wheelchair sound! I love that kind of stuff.
I didn’t even know you could get that kind of job.. that sounds like a lot of fun. I had a friend once that was a pirate at disney land for a summer job, but yours sounds really fun!

My name’s Joanna. I’m 14,5 years old and I’m a Polish permanent immigrant, living currently in Lima, Peru.
I love art, and probably almost everything linked to it. I actually want to be a fashion designer.
I’m listening to various types of music - I never wanted to be “one style fan”. My whole list of the bands I like is written on my VF account (my “name” used here is my VF nickname).
I’m also a person that hates being in the reality world all the times. That’s why people tell me often, that I’m dreaming :p

Yeah, that’s like 18 000 kms (12,5 h from Lima to Amsterdam and then something like 2 hours to Warsaw).
But I lived outside Poland almost my whole life (and never get used to it): first Chile, then Poland, then Nigeria, and finally - Peru. That’s why I’m called “permanent immigrant”.

Hiyo, my names Rae. i live in chicago and am currently enduring my last year of high school. i am hoping for either the east or west-coast for college– just in need of a change of scenery really.
my obsesssion has for a long while has been drawing. i work with pencils, inks, colored pencils, markers, and more recently i began painting. i also really want to learn how to do digital coloring and painting one of these days, but don’t have the resources to do so yet. unfortunatly, my high school really doesn’t have an art department so im primarily self-taught, but i do take painting classes saturday mornings. regardless, my aspirations include writing and drawing my own comics and traveling around the world as a human rights activist simultaneously.

Rae- I hope your final year of high school goes well.. it sounds like you need to get out of there (I mean… what high school doesn’t have an art department?…. that bites!). Good luck with your art too, I’m sure you’ll go far! It’s also really cool that you are interested in human rights activism, that’s really noble and needed in this world. =)

I’m Fajr bka Stylish Thought. I’m a 25 year old, “working” (barely, disguised as a web editor) writer in the United States… Philadelphia to be exact. I blog too, love fashion and have been practicing Djing for the last year, though I haven’t gotten a gig yet! I want to travel and experience fashion all over the world. Hi I’m San and I live in Geelong, Australia.
At the moment I’m only 15 and I’m about to start year 11 at school, and my favourite subjects are Visual Communication, (year 12) Studio Arts and my Multimedia VET course - and despite my very artistic subject selections I’m not very good at drawing free hand so I end up using Photoshop for a lot of my art work.
I’d really like to go into design when I’m older or at least something artistic, that would be freakin’ awesome.
So all and all this blog rocks, I love Angelspit, Destroy X is one of my heroes and yeah.. That’s all from me!
Current project: Think of what my final assessment should be in my year 12 Studio Arts class. Any ideas?

Hello, I’m Luise, also occasionaly known as Nurse Lutease and I’m originaly from Wales but am currently studying Law in London… which is largely an excuse to work in Camden Market (and spend my wages there as soon as they are earnt!)
I adore the Gothic subculture and all it’s subdivisions, especailly how they are constantly being reworked to form new styles.
I saw Angelpit live once in TJs in Newport… Your glorious self gave me the ‘best dressed female’ award, which is something I still treasure… I also met a charming young man at that gig and am still happily with him a year and a half later :)
